Most expensive penthouse sold in Dubai’s Al Habtoor City

Al Habtoor Group, which is behind the construction of a new high-end residential and hospitality project Al Habtoor City, announced the other day that one of the 12 penthouses in this complex is already sold.

Dubai records are being broken in a blink of an eye. It's not just about construction records, but also about records in real estate sales. Less than a month ago imexre.com reported that an exclusive apartment in The One tower under construction by Omniyat on the manmade island of Palm Jumeirah was expected to become the priciest penthouse ever sold in Dubai. Then it was said that the cost of this unit covering about 3900 square meters amounted to AED 200 million (USD 54,47 million).

But today came the information that this record may soon be broken by one of the 12 penthouses in the Al Habtoor City. Their cost ranges from AED 66,237,888 to AED 209,844,888, depending on the configuration. It is said that one of the penthouses has already found the owner, though it is not reported which one it was. 12 penthouses from the Ultimate Collection, ranging from 880 to 28,786 square meters form the upper segment of the exclusive collection of 1460 apartments located in three towers of Al Habtoor City.

In addition to residential properties the project includes three Starwood hotels: The St. Regis Dubai, which opened late 2015, the W Dubai – Al Habtoor City and The Westin Dubai, Al Habtoor City, which are due to open in the coming months. Also, residents and guests of the complex will have access to a completely unique infrastructure units like the largest UAE’s 3250 square meter infinity pool, a fitness center with a private club and yoga studio, a tennis academy, large indoor air-conditioned courts, as well as a medical clinic, a nursery and a supermarket.

And of course, the main advantage of the Al Habtoor City project is its location in the heart of the city, on the banks of the Dubai Canal.
